Thank you for your feedback. Within Afni, we strive to develop a culture where employees feel welcomed and appreciated.

afni work at home reviews

We continually look for new ways to show our appreciation and gratitude to our employees for their dedication and hard work. Looking around, you will see people from many different backgrounds, which helps make Afni a fun and interesting place to work—we want everyone to feel they are an integral part of the Afni family. Afni promotes a culture where employees feel they can communicate with supervisors at any level to get questions answered and concerns addressed.

If at any time an employee feels they are not able to approach their coach with an issue they are encouraged to seek out another coach or even an operations manager. If that does not seem the best solution, Human Resources is available for any employee concern. At least I got a paycheck that almost would have put me above the poverty line. Low Pay, High Stress job that sucks the life out of you.

Same high school favortisim that plagues almost all call centers. Supervisors are not available to employees when the caller requests them, instead they sit at a desk and requests come into a ticket or chatline.

That is where they cherry pick the easy situations and ignore the difficult, then they come ask why your call time is so long. I told them "Because you won't take the sup call".

So the response is to walk away and ignore you from that point going forward. This job is a life suck with low pay.

What's the point, they never read it anyway, to them I'd just be "noise" Read my "cons" section if you're really interested in improvement. At Afni, we feel our pay is competitive and favorable in our market. The environment can be fast-paced and challenging at times, which is why we focus on our employees to develop a fun and upbeat atmosphere.

Our coaches focus on their agents and are there to answer questions and help with difficult customers. They basically teach you to use their systems and that's it really, you're on your own from there.

If that's not proof you shouldn't work there, I don't know what is, along with the rest of my points. That was the worst job experience ever, and I will not be coming back. Also, they screen people heavily now even though they need people was desperate for a job and they didn't want to hire me because I missed 2 questions on the "test". Ridiculous, so good luck getting a job there as well.

Get a new Contract with someone else, because VZW is awful. No wonder you guys have such a high turnover, your supervisors don't take anything into account and just bash people even though they are doing their jobs. Get new management and fire all of your supervisors and OMs. Or at least make them take 2 hours of calls a day, because I know they're not doing anything else. We appreciate your feedback. Afni strives to provide support to their agents.

We provide award-winning training to help agents deal with difficult calls. We also have a rewarding field where hard work and commitment can pay off in career advancement and bonuses. Inflexible hours No holidays Management not helpful No career advancement No sick days Not understanding of extenuating circumstances High stress.

Upper Management doesn't know what is going on. Disgusting building, literally dead skin flakes caked on the back of every chair and a carper that has never been washed and I have found fleas on me while at work. Management rewards suck ups and liars who will manipulate stats. Lots of weird creepy people work there and sexual harassment has been an issue for several female coworkers during my employment there.

Take calls and find out what is actually going on on the floor instead of sitting in offices and playing ping pong all day. Thank you for taking the time to review your time at Afni.

We appreciate all feedback and want to make sure we are taking into consideration how our employees feel about important aspects of working for Afni. In fact, we conduct employee opinion surveys twice a year and work hard to turn that feedback into change that will make Afni a better place to work. We are glad you find the flexible schedule opportunities a positive. We also understand we can make some improvements to our facility and are working on several renovation items.

Currently, we are painting and replacing the carpet, and there is more to come. We want to make sure our employees are spending their days in a safe, clean and comfortable environment. We always have an open door policy and are here for our employee's well-being, and we take that responsibility very seriously.

If any employee ever feels they are being treated unfairly or in an inappropriate manner, they are urged to go to any member of local Human Resources or the Sr.

In addition, that open door policy includes any member of corporate Human Resources or Executive Leadership as well. Finally, Afni has a third party hotline where employees have an opportunity to report ethical concerns anonymously as well. At Afni, we are dedicated to ensuring all employees are treated with dignity and respect. Not a lot of autonomy unless you are on salary. Allow time for training and getting updated throughout the months not just the initial training or coaching.

We understand that our training may seem fast paced; however the purpose behind this is to prepare our employees to assist customers who have varying needs. There is a lot of information that we must teach in a short period of time and because of how our training is structured, we have been named one of the best training's by Training Magazine.

We appreciate your positive outlook and encourage you to continue to advance your career with Afni. If there is a position you are interested in applying for please come down to HR if you have any questions or would like further information regarding the position.

The pay is decent for the job especially without any kind of college education required. And the people I work with are really friendly and nice and easy to talk to. Everyone is welcoming and doesn't make you feel like you're not "cool" and don't fit in with the "clique. It starts before you're even hired. The training lasts for two months and even after all that time, you still don't feel fully prepared to be chatting with live customers.

The whole training period is required to be full time. That is not flexible. Especially when you're a college student and sometimes only getting 5 hours of sleep due to the training. I attribute a lot of poor grades of mine to that time period.

I was told by the recruiter I spoke with before I was hired that even though training would be required to be full time, you can go to a part time schedule as soon as it's done. That never happened with me. The shifts that you bid on are all full time.

I was never offered a part time schedule by management even though I made it PAINFULLY obvious I was a college student and needed a part time schedule to, you know, keep up with work.

Afni will adjust your schedule around your classes, however, they don't seem to realize that just because I'm not sitting in a classroom doesn't mean I'm available to work.

I need time outside of class to do homework too. I had a part time schedule briefly only after hounding my supervisor for weeks. I had been taking unpaid days off that had a negative impact on my attendance just so I could keep up with my school work.

I shouldn't be punished because of lack of attentiveness from management. Management doesn't care about you. They try to pretend they do by holding silly giveaway contests for prizes that require you to be even more annoying than you normally are to customers in order to win. But you're not fooling anyone. I see right through this tactic. Trying to distract me with shiny things doesn't make me forget that if I tried to express to management how miserable and stressed and depressed I was by this job, I would probably be fired.

Afni tries to make you think you're appreciated but you're not. They can get rid of you and immediately hire someone to replace you who won't cause them any kind of inconvenience with their annoying human feelings. I have often fantasized about walking out of this place and quitting so I wouldn't have to deal with verbally-abusive customers and overbearing management. Fact is, I need the money.

A week in hell: Chelan business owners dish on filming upcoming episode of ‘Hotel Hell’ | Local | omotohu.web.fc2.com

And I know it wouldn't look very good for me to quit before getting to a year. But I honestly don't know if I can handle it much longer. I get two days off every week and I always dread having to go back. I have had a few jobs by now and I have never been more miserable at one than I am at Afni. If you enjoy sitting at a small workstation with extremely slow and outdated computer equipment and programs in very close proximity with other people while getting verbally abused by belligerent, technologically-challenged customers for at least 8 hours a day while being constantly reminded when you're not meeting extremely high KPIs, then this might be the job for you.

Afni expects agents to deliver amazing customer service while simultaneously providing sub-par, almost non-existent support for the agents working for them. Stop using company money to fund pointless giveaway contests that do absolutely nothing to actually improve morale of the employees and instead invest in some more adequate computer equipment and replace all the old, sweat-stained, broken chairs.

That is disgusting and unacceptable. And do something to improve the response of the network. While having to deal with two angry customers at the same time, the last thing we need is a slow-loading web page that freezes the entire computer for several seconds. And for the love of all that is sacred, please stop making us use Internet Explorer.

Put Chrome on all of the computers. It is so much faster and more efficient. And if you're going to ask employees for feedback, actually discuss it with us. Don't just ask us and then leave us in the dark. What is being done to improve the extremely high turnover?

What is being done to improve the shabby working conditions? Communicate with us without the car-salesman lip service. Acknowledge the areas in which your company fails and stop pretending Afni is such a great company when it's clearly not.

I honestly wonder how a lot of upper management sleeps at night believing that silly motto of Afni being a great place to work. Career Opportunities and Promotions. No alignment in rules and regulation in production floor.

Sitel Soul Work From Home

Flexible schedule, decent Atmosphere and great people. Verbal abuse from customers, unreliable equipment and software, bonus structure changes constantly, unreasonable kpi. The company does an excellent job working with our schedules but when it comes to our performance I feel let down. I was a top sales person for and but still only make 10 cents more than a new hire. This was fine when we could make to in bonuses but now we are lucky to get and that's only if you are perfect, talk 1 second to long and you get nothing.

This needs to be changed. While we understand that it can be difficult to adjust to changes when they are directly related to a bonus Afni also tries to be competitive in our markets. You are more than welcome to schedule a time to come to HR and discuss any concerns you have with changes that have made. Afni has worked very hard to make our environment conducive to a positive and energetic work place. The bonuses were cool, I was platinum every month so I was getting about dollar bonuses every other check.

Promoting people who don't know anything about the systems and who truly don't care that they were promoted. I worked at afni for 2 years. I was a platinum agent for months in a row. The people who they wanted to be "coaches" was a joke. Promoting people out of new hire training to be a coach? How about the workers who were there for 2 years.

Let's talk about how when I did work at home, it was AFNIS fault that my Cisco phone didn't work. A work at home coach said don't worry, we'll compensate you its not your fault. Nope, I never got paid for that by the way, and I'm sure that's illegal. Worst company ever, I hope the center in AZ shuts down since using sick time goes against adherence, I'm sure that's illegal too,.

We always appreciate receiving feedback from high performing agents whether they are current or former employees. At Afni, we try to empower our people by making promotional opportunities available to all employees as long as they have the skill set to match the position. While on occasion we will hire folks out of training to become project coaches this event is rare.

In regards to the issue you experienced as a work at home agent you are more than welcome to stop by the center at which you worked to speak to someone regarding concerns you have.

Pros -Nice people -Based in a nice location to fast food places -Hour lunches if you're full-time -Good benefits -Employee culture is awesome, everyone is helpful if you ask them -Met a lot of friends at Afni during training.

Cons -Supervisors don't listen to ANYTHING you say -Supervisors tell you to "position" everything, even if you're trying to just be straight with a customer and tell them what's going on -Customers are EXTREMELY stupid and volatile and you can't explain ANYTHING to them or they go off on you because they understand what's going on and you apparently don't, so that's why they're calling in for help, obviously -Customers will not take "your child is using all the data" as an answer, because their child is a "precious little angel" -Supervisors don't understand the work -Multiple times a day there will be NO supervisors on the entire floor you're on, so you can't escalate the call to a supervisor so you have to sit there with an angry person on the phone.
